Old Westbury Gardens seeks enthusiastic persons for the following volunteer opportunities:

Westbury House Gift Shop Retail Associates

  • Help customers find merchandise and purchase products in the gift shop.
  • 4-hour, weekend shifts available

Garden Volunteer

  • Assist horticultural staff in an assigned area
  • Ability and flexibility to bend, kneel required.
  • 8am-12pm shifts, Monday, Wednesday, or Thursdays
  • No formal knowledge of horticulture required, only enthusiasm to learn.
  • All volunteers must commit to 4 hours per week, April through October, in addition to training requirements.

Westbury House Greeter

  • Welcome and assist guests to Westbury House
  • Provide basic information about Old Westbury Gardens and visitor amenities
  • 4-hour weekday (except Tuesdays) and weekend shifts available.
